Cucumbers in the office? Yes – in our self-built timber building!

This spring, the first cucumbers were successfully grown in the ZTC office — inside a timber frame panel building produced and assembled entirely by our team. This unexpected gardening experiment is a great illustration of the healthy and balanced indoor climate made possible by factory-built timber construction.

“They actually grew! It turns out it’s not just people who thrive here, but plants too,” laughs the ZTC director.

Timber buildings naturally regulate humidity and air quality, creating a pleasant, stable environment — ideal for both work and, apparently, cucumber growing!
This is yet another real-life example that sustainable construction is more than a buzzword — it’s something you can feel every day.
