CLT panels

CLT panels – a sustainable and innovative timber material for construction

CLT panels (Cross-Laminated Timber) are one of the most modern and eco-friendly building materials available today. They are produced by gluing spruce timber boards in perpendicular layers using formaldehyde-free polyurethane adhesive, resulting in outstanding strength and safety. CLT combines the natural beauty of wood with sustainability, making it an excellent choice for both new builds and renovations.

Advantages of CLT panels

Fire Resistance:
CLT panels are known for their high fire resistance. Solid timber heats up more slowly than metal or concrete, making it a safer option in the event of a fire.

Lightweight and Fast Installation:
CLT panels are three times lighter than lightweight concrete blocks and five times lighter than standard concrete. This allows for easier transport, faster installation, and reduced construction resources.

Excellent Structural Properties:
CLT panels are perfectly suited for walls, floors, roofs, and even interior features such as stairs or designer furniture. Each panel is tailored individually to meet specific project requirements and client preferences.

Production and application

CLT panels are manufactured based on the exact specifications of each construction project. The maximum panel size can reach up to 13,800 x 3,100 x 400 mm, allowing for flexible solutions across various building types. Exterior surfaces can be finished using different materials such as cladding boards or panel sheets, depending on the architectural design. Internally, the panels can either be left exposed or covered with plasterboard to simplify electrical installations.

Fast installation and reduced construction time

One of the key advantages of CLT panels is the rapid on-site installation. Compared to traditional materials like concrete or steel, CLT construction time can be reduced by up to 50%. Their lightweight structure and simple joint system allow for quick and efficient assembly.
