We at ZTC have proudly completed the construction of our new office building next to our prefabricated wooden house factory in Jelgava.
This project is especially significant for us – it not only highlights our experience in timber construction and prefabricated building manufacturing, but also serves as a real-life showcase of our craftsmanship, materials, and sustainable technologies.
The office building was designed and built in close cooperation with our in-house specialists. Architecturally, it stands out with its curved façade, distinctive roof overhang, and Latvian folk symbols incorporated into the design.
Many elements were handcrafted by our own team: wooden details, screwless joinery, and exterior finishes made from production leftovers – larch, pine, ash, oak, and even reclaimed parquet boards from the renovation of the Latvian National Opera.
The new ZTC office is a living example of our innovative building technologies.
It features:
Vapor-free wall systems
Wood fiber and cellulose insulation
Energy-efficient heating and ventilation systems with heat recovery (HRV)
These solutions ensure excellent energy performance, sustainability, and a healthy indoor microclimate all year round.
Inside, we’ve created a bright and inspiring work environment – open spaces with acoustic panels, a cozy kitchen, and a modern meeting room. It’s a place for work, collaboration, and new ideas.
The new ZTC office is more than an architectural project – it is our collective achievement and pride.
It embodies what can be achieved when you trust your skills, technology, and the limitless potential of wood as a modern and sustainable building material.
