The wooden house building has regained its prestige both in the world and in Latvia. This is one of the oldest and at the same time most modern building styles. Wood as a building material itself bears an esthetic value and it creates comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.

The main construction of the house is the wooden carcass, which is paneled from both sides and filled with heat insulation material.

Expenses of wooden house production are reduced using building materials rationally as well as producing series of wooden panel houses. When the houses are built according to the serial project, you do not have to worry about designing of the house. One of the advantages of serial houses is fast building time. Split log houses
While building log houses you have to keep in mind that the new house during the first year will change. The ZTC specialists recommend to build family houses from wooden panels, but saunas, and garden houses can be built as log houses.
The Zemgale Technological Centre manufactures split log houses from dried wood. Thickness of walls is 45, 70, 110 mm.
The inside finish of log houses is possible not only in wood, but all inside finish materials can be used.
Wooden houses live long
It is a false opinion that life of wooden houses is not long. The main question is to take care properly. It is necessary to maintain rain gutters. They have to be clean and function in order to keep rain water away from foundations. If the house has wooden paneling then depending on the elevation color it is to be renewed within 3-5 years. The roof cover must also be taken care of.
ZTC gives warranty for the building set depending on the package the customer has chosen.
